    Jef Reynolds enjoys making your event special! He plays a diverse variety of Acoustic Pop/Funky Folk/Jazz/Rock/Country throughout South Eastern Michigan and occasional national shows. He is also known for his eclectic production sense gleaned from working in many studios in the Motor City, multi-instrumental prowess, intuitive voice, and a dry martini sense of humor, Jef enjoyed a role as an accompanist for various International Artists...Lesley Gore, Lou Christie, Archie Bell, The Tokens, Alex Chilton, Wolfman Jack and his Midnight Special Revival Road Show. He is currently a part of the Neo-Depression Jazz and Soul music revival in Detroit. Mentored from a stable of Detroit jazz heritage (Funk brother Joe Messina, Ralph Armstrong, Mike Karoub, Wendell Harrison, RJ Spangler, Scott Gwinnell). Member of Shivers (A&M Records 1980s). On-call session player at Cloudborne, Ron Rose & Producers Color Service Studios. Early works of Michael King/Gary Nester. Projects include work with national Singer/Songwriters Jo Serrapere (Prairie Home Companion) and Sir Mack RIce (Stax).
