Dezie
McCullers, jazz saxophone, is a long time Detroit Musician who has played and
recorded with some of the areas finest artists as well as having been the leader
of the Dezie McCullers Orchestra. Jazz Quarterly declared them to be a sure
crowd pleaser and can be heard frequently at Bakers Keyboard Lounge. The group
plays big band and smaller jazz ensemble featuring horns, keyboard, drums and
vocalist. Dezie toured for Motown Records with Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The
Supremes artist for Motown records and can be heard on the recordings with T-Bone
Walker and Johnny Bassett Live at Montreaux. His latest CD is 'Soulful' Sounds
recorded live on the Ed Love Radio Show.
